Evening staff, especially Mr Al, was exceptionally helpful

Cleaning staff went into my room, threw garbage, changed towels but didn't make the bed
Also shuttle was unpredictable and even though I had scheduled an airport drop off the night before my check out, the day off, the front staff, who was so incompetent (had to even call the manager to get approval to leave bags in storage) didn't pay attention and brushed me off when I wanted to confirm shuttle was scheduled for 1 pm for drop off. As it turns out, the driver had gone to lunch 1230 p..to 130 p.m and when I confronted the desk clerk, he contacted the manager, who basically said it was a "courtesy shuttle" and I had the option to schedule my own transportation because her driver needed to take lunch. I felt they should have had better coordination knowing guests relied on a scheduled drop off and knowing their rule is the shuttle runs every hour to go to the airport. Knowing I had the time, I went to have breakfast at the Dennys next door and took my time. Just to encounter this issue which would have set me back about 45 minutes. It was also disappointing the defensiveness of the manager with the comment that was completely unnecessary.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and very organized. I was presently surprised by this. I arrived about 10:45am and unable to check in early (my own budget) they let me get comfortable in the dining area until I could. So kind and polite

Hotel felt dated, old, and much like a contractor work hotel... Room felt dirty, A/C was dirty, Elevator dirty, Shuttle Bus was a complete dirty, old, rattling junk box on wheels, Zero coffee at breakfast...nothing worth eating...lobby and dining area were more updated....but rest of hotel...just old and dirty. Would not stay again...and sorry we picked it the first time. Much better hotels across the freeway. Staff was pleasant and friendly.
