Extended Stay America Suites - Lubbock - Southwest

Negatives: that my second room was cancelled without notification. my airplane got delayed and when I got to the hotel a staff member told me that my first room was cancelled because I checked in late even though I paid for both rooms for two nights in advance. I don’t appreciate it what happened.

Negatives: upon entering the building the smell of wet dog hits you, followed by the visual greeting of long term guests/workers/whoever sitting in the two chairs in the entry way BSing with each other. There was blood on the linen and a broken TV remote that wouldn’t allow us to watch television and it was never addressed after we mentioned it to the front desk. Upon checkout, the one and only luggage trolley was in use by a member that was in the process of moving out…so we took multiple trips to load vehicle. There was no iron available in the room only an ironing board. The kitchenette had nothing there for us to use, later we found a list of items we could request. Many guests that had been staying in the facility were vacated/displaced so that rooms were available for Tech graduation and sold for increased price due to the high demand. The carpet in the rooms were disgusting to the point my feet were sticking to them so definitely kept shoes on all the time.

Negatives: It was not clean - fold out bed was horrible had stains and crumbs all over it. The bathroom sink did not work

Negatives: Booking.com should not represent this property. There were individuals outside that seemed strung out just sitting on the benches and lingering in the parking lot. The smell when you entered the room was nauseating. It smelled like cigarettes and must. The bed was the worst bed I have ever seen. The mattress was paper thin and you could feel the metal springs. There was black stains in the shower pan. We checked in and left immediately after seeing the room. We ate the cost of the stay and booked another hotel because we felt so unsafe and dirty there.

Negatives: no sleep very noisy but by spider

Negatives: Roaches in room and the smell of the rooms/hallway I would not recommend this place. Over all was horrible and then found out later from tenant and staff the room I was in had bed bugs the week before
