The hotel appears to be very new and modern. There is a bar in the lobby (W xyz), and little conversation nooks with board games like Connect4. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, albeit a bit odd (check out the photo of the bathroom wallpaper). I like that there's no carpet in the rooms (better for allergies), just a small area rug, but that does mean the room can be a little echoey. I didn't hear noise from other guests, though, so that's good. I love the DryBar bath products. Shares a parking lot with Fuego tacos (yum) and Dutch Bros Coffee. Great location near I-10 and UTSA.
Negatives:
The water was scalding HOT. I couldn't figure out how to get the water colder in the shower or sink (took my pills with hot water). I could see from other reviews that this was an issue - people seem to have either no hot water or only hot water.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. I arrived and found out that they cancelled without any notification my reservation.
They accepted it was their fault but still they did not solve my problem. I was at midnight waiting for a room with my daughter without any help.

Front desk was not very helpful. the young man stated breakfast is served from 7am-11am making sound that it was complimentary as most hotels. Room did not have an ice bucket when I called the front desk same young man did know what an ice bucket was. Also the bar was closed due to no bartender.
