Positives:
Close to the interstate, easy to get to, plenty of parking
Negatives:
The light switch did not work & the bathroom had bugs. The bugs concerned me so I didnt use the shower as I suspected it may not be clean. Next time I am on this route I will get a campsite & my money will be better spent but I just needed a place to rest my head on a long drive so this worked for a single night.

No frills stay not for the faint of heart
Positives:
Check in was quick and front desk was friendly. Linens and bathroom was clean. Rest of room, not as much.
Negatives:
There were huge black crickets in our room. Several, in fact. Thankfully, they were dead and likely for a long time. Room needs a good clean and especially a vacuum. Room just had a general feeling of grime. My son's feet were black after running around for 15 minutes or so.

Bugs EVERYWHERE in the room. I saw roaches, beetles, ants, crickets, mosquitoes, other flying bugs... Guests should not have to sleep in such an environment. Shower was gross, dead bugs also everywhere. Had to fill the ice bucket with water and wash away the bugs at the threshold of the door. They came back crawling under the door.

I travel to Shamrock frequently to work. I love how the check in/check out process is quick and easy with always friendly managing personnel. And then walking into a room that not only looks clean, but smells clean. The location is great because I do not hear the I-40 traffic. I've stayed at other places in Shamrock, but whenever (and it usually always is) a room here is available, I prefer Motel 6!

Great location, I feel safer with it not being right next to I-40. Loved the plank flooring and loved how the towels and bedding smells fresh and clean!
