Positives: I was thinking that this was going to be a half decent place it definitely was not
Negatives: The place is run down when I got there I went inside and I had already put in my comments for my booking that I was traveling with two service animals the lady at the front desk said well what kind of service animal are they and I told her what it was for she says well for that reason you don't need two animals only one so I'm charging you for one of your pets and then they charged me for a deposit which was not even on their website that they were doing that I go into my room and it was not what I wanted it was completely disgusting toilet was gross I was very excited to take a bath because I have very bad legs I would not even dare sit down in that tub and then I ended up not even having hot water as it was I am very very disappointed and I am irate about how they treated me regarding my service animals and for why I have them that is not for them to say that I should only have one pet instead of two none of their business plus it's against the law to do what they just did by charging me for one of my service animals I wanted to show her my papers that it they were legally serviced and she refused to even look at the papers I will definitely never stay there again and never recommend it

Positives: After my time frame to request a refund had expired, I went and read the reivews. I like that we didn't see any bedbugs (because I read the google review about their room having bedbugs and the hotel never bothered to respond to them either). However, I still "itched" all over my body all night because I just couldn't get those images out of my head. I also like that Darren and Lynn were both friendly and our room wasn't bad for the price we paid. But their technology skills need improvement. The stress this hotel gave us was NOT NEEDED. Next time, please DON'T reject your 1am check in when you're not planning to close until 1am anyway, or maybe just learn to respond to your messages and answer your phone. No, I never mentioned any of this to Lynn because I am NOT "a Karen" and I don't need to ruin a nice lady's evening. But if booking.con is going to ask me what I liked and not liked, I WILL RESPOND WITH MY TRUE EXPERIENCE.
Negatives: I absolutely hated the fact that they kept rejecting our check in time 3x online but wouldn't respond to our messages online. Here's why this bothered me: We knew that we were going to be arriving between midnight and 1am on Friday so as a courtesy, we called the hotel before booking and asked them if they could accommodate us. Thjs was on a Tuesday evening. "Darren" in the front office was cool about it told us that we could have a late check in on Friday. So we started to make our reservation through Booking.com as Darren mentioned it would be less expensive than booking through him directly. Booking.com gave us several options to choose from to let the host know when our checkin time would be. We selected 00:00 -1:00 am. Booking.com said this was an acceptable check in time, and remember... so did "Darren". But within a few minutes of speaking to Darren and submitting our payment to booking.com, I received a message from the "property" that said our check in time was rejected. Immediately, I sent a response asking why. I NEVER HEARD BACK. Despite my efforts of calling, messaging them several times over days and days, they NEVER bothered to tell me why. I even tried resubmitting my checkin time 2 more times. They were always guixk to send a rejection but it was like they were ignoring me. Why tell me we can, then reject our request? I didn't need the stress just before going on our family trip but that's what they gave us. Friday arrived so we drove as fast as we can through rain and snow, just to try to arrive before midnight, their posted closing time, only to arrive 3 minutes before midnight and find Lynn, a cheerful, upbeat front desk host who knew nothing of our messages and she even told us she would be there until 1am. Then why the heck did we stress? Why did we rush? Why did they reject our check in time 3x then? I blame this on both the host and booking.com for not having a better system.
