The only thing good about this hotel was the location.

The washer and dryer didn't work. The public restroom wasn't operable, and it seemed as the I had to go back to the front desk to re-program my key card to access my room, and in one case, there was no one at the desk. This pissed me off.

the room I stayed in had a lot of noticeable damage already entering the room. hole in the bathroom door at the base, ripped off border on the counter, cuts in carpet by the wall, loose hinges on cabinets. buildup of grime on the shower heads and made me not want to shower.

The check-in was long and incompetent. My first key card didn't work. The whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. The room itself was worn (stains on the carpet, tiling in the bathroom coming up.)

The staff was friendly. The room was nice, clean, and the bed was super comfortable.

The bathroom had a strong smell of what smelled like cigarette smoke. I had to keep the door shut and pump the AC to ventilate the air. I had to hold my breath to use the bathroom, and I couldn't take a shower due to the strong smell.
