The hotel upgraded our room category one level when I asked, which was nice. Comfortable bed. While the hotel bathroom is old enough to have its original narrow tub, the rainfall shower head (and wand) and curved shower curtain rod made for a nice shower.
Negatives:
Like most 4-star hotels, this one also doesn't offer a free breakfast. The hotel bar offers the only food or drink in its block. It's also about an 8 to 10 minute walk to a Metro station, though a free shuttle service most hours of the day helps with that

Excellent proximity to my friends, the hotel staff was very friendly/helpful. The food was good. I had some malfunction of the telephone making crackling sounds and the light flashing a bit so told the front desk so they could fix it

I was moved from room 4-5 times due to heavy doses of secondhand cigarette smoke. I was unable to sleep through the night, reported it to the general manager and nothing was done not even a response, had to wear masks during our stay, and our clothing

Very clean and comfortable room. All linens were extremely nice from the bedding to the towels. Great shower pressure and heat with awesome complimentary soaps and shampoo. One of the most comfortable beds in any hotel Ive ever stayed in.
