This newly renovated modern all-suite hotel with a 5-story atrium is 7 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport and 9 miles from the Udvar–Hazy Center aerospace museum. Simply furnished suites include Wi-Fi (fee), flat-screen TVs, and separate living rooms with pull-out sofas, as well as microwaves, minifridges and coffeemakers. Upgraded suites add whirlpool tubs, wet bars and/or conferences tables. Complimentary amenities include parking and an airport/area shuttle, plus hot breakfast, and an evening reception with appetizers and drinks. The complimentary drinks during happy hour were totally unexpected, but welcomed.
Ease of check-in and check-out was great.
Negatives:
Had to stand and wait for almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. Walked in to the lobby to an empty desk with a sign "Will return in 5-10 minutes"

Positives:
I always appreciate staying at the Embassy Suites. It's clean and the rooms are quiet despite being around a 6-story atrium. It's also convenient to visit my parents.
Negatives:
There is construction in the parking lot but I wish the lights worked in that area as it's very dark coming in at night. They used to charge for parking in an open parking lot but they have dropped that charge.

Positives:
It's clean. Despite having a 6-story atrium the rooms are very quiet because the sleeping area is away from the atrium. I also like having a separate living area as my husband is often up late and I can close the door to the bedroom and not be disturbed.
Negatives:
There is not always staff at the front desk so no one answers when I call from my room.
