Positives:
So the property was close to the location that we needed to be at as we were participating in a Black Friday pop up weekend at the Valley Mall. The hotel was close to many restaurants and shopping in the area. Upon arrival to our room it smelled clean and there were no bed bugs or any other insects present. During our stay our neighbors were smoking and of course our room did smell of that as well as outside around the door.
Negatives:
When asking for room service to all an on our second day we came back to towels that were stained and dirty. Even when we went to the front desk to ask for clean towels they only gave us a hand towel and regular bed towel which was also stained with yellow and black marks on them. They did not smell clean or freshly washed. Our toilet did get stopped up on the first night which they did fix that issue the next day. The TV in the room was old and out dated.

Positives:
Hotel was clean. At $100 it was the cheapest by far of the local hotels priced around $250.
Negatives:
Desk clerk insisted on $50 damage retainer. This was not listed on Booking.com description. If done by credit card, $50 is not credited to your credit card until after an 11am inspection. I had prepaid my lodging fee by credit card, but put down $50 cash retainer after being assured by desk clerk they would inspect room at my 7am checkout. Inspection done promptly and $50 returned. I was unable to park 20 foot Uhaul truck on site. They apparently have permission to park overflow in Hobby Lobby parking lot next door across the street. We were able to park truck within view of our hotel window. The hotel room was located on 2nd floor walk up in an adjacent building. Very noisy door closing from other rooms was annoying for sleeping but fortunately all rooms settled down by 11pm and we had a restful sleep. Room phone did not work and one of the two switches did not work on the bedside lamp between the double beds.

There was a very sweet young girl that checked me in upon arrival…very nice!
Negatives:
We had to change rooms because the original room was full of mold….Basically an unacceptable bathroom that had a very small entrance to the bathroom in my …The lightbulbs had to be manually screwed in and I cut my foot an inch wide on a piece of glass that was left in the room from a previous stay the TV was unable to operate, so we changed to the room next-door. That room had no blankets was a little better but it took me a half an hour to clean the room. We were staying for two days due to my mother’s doctors appointment in the two days I am countered for baby cockroaches, the telephone cord continue to fall out any time that I tried to call the front desk there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. The lampshades didn’t match on the two night lights between the bed. Had I not needed a smoking room for my mother we would’ve left the hotel.

Positives:
The staff was nice, good location.
Negatives:
It was extremely dirty, there was bugs and hair everywhere. The beds were not made properly, there was what looked to be bed bugs dead on sheets and red spots. The towels we had were literally wet and smelt as if they had been used. The blankets were dirty. It was overwhelmingly nasty.

Disappointing
Positives:
The ONLY satisfactory thing about this place was the receptionist, Betsy. She was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and empathetic.
Negatives:
The couch in the room was old, stained, ripped. The blanket on the bed had holes in it. The sheets we were given the first night had blood stains. When asked for new sheets, the guy with housekeeping seemed annoyed. Then the new sheets we got also had stains. (I will note that I did see him take these sheets out of a wrapping, so I'm sure they got cleaned. However, blood-stained sheets should be trashed in my opinion).
Towels were old and stained; what were supposed to be white towels looked yellow. The shower had an old, opened soap bar in it, which makes me think it didn't get cleaned properly.
The second night, we discovered bed bugs in our room. When the maintenance guy and manager were informed, it seemed like they were trying to blame us for bringing them in (which we did not). I did end up getting a refund, but only for my last two nights. When I asked about possible compensation in case we ended up having to treat our house/belongings for bed bugs, the manager claimed, "pest control said there were no bed bugs." Even though i had photos of them in the room, which i will attach to this review.
I'd also like to not that the manager REFUSED to speak with me himself every time I asked. He always had his employees relay his messages.
Overall, this place was absolutely terrible and needs to be shut down. As i said before, Betsy, the receptionist, was THE ONLY good thing about this entire experience. She even offered to give money from HER OWN POCKET to buy lysol bc the manager wouldn't give her some to give to me for my belongings until I could get to a laundromat.
