Check in was a delight with front desk staff. Lovely young lady who was efficient, friendly and accommodating.
Room was super clean, beds comfy and it was so refreshing to not have to pay extra for the fur baby. They provided an extremely pleasant dog friendly grass area that was well lit at night. Well done Red Roof!
Location was 1 minute from the interstate and yet it was quiet and you did not hear the truck traffic.
Negatives:
Hallways were noisy, we were woken up by noisy neighbors. Perhaps carpeting (floor runner) would help.

Positives:
My car broke down close to Hillsville and the staff were very friendly and helpful as I worked through repairing it with a nearby mechanic. The hotel building itself looked a little older but my room was clean and quiet it looked like they had done some recent updates on the interior. Overall very happy with the experience of staying here.

The breakfast was pretty basic; no protein except peanut butter. :)

The location on/off I-77 was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the room exceeded our expectations. Very comfortably and happily no carpeting!
Negatives:
The breakfast is not diabetic-friendly. There was nothing a diabetic could eat. It should be listed as "Continental" since there was no protein, only bread & cereal.
