The bed was the only comfortable thing.

The receptionist was rude and I was told I couldn't get the room I reserved with a stand-up shower because it was for the handicap. I stated on more than one occasion that I have had the king room with the standup shower. She told me that, that was impossible. The walls dirty, TV barely had channels, the microwave door and fridge door barely worked. I received the wrong king room and it was told I couldn't get the room I reserved with the extra towels I asked for through my reservation and I have osteoarthritis along with bad knees. The bathroom water in the toilet and tub was brown. The clock wasn't working. Overall the bed was the only thing good out of this. This the 2nd I have had this issue but the 1st time the receptionist was helpful.

Pool looked like sewage. Pieces of chairs floating in it, gnats everywhere. Picture available. Dehumidifiers lining the hall, carpet must’ve been soaked recently. Still pending charges twice on my credit card (two nights for a one night stay) when I was assured that one would drop when we checked out. Checked out almost 12 hours ago and the second charge is still pending.  doesn’t appear that there is much effort to upkeep any of the exterior.  i’ve spent less money for nicer places.  it does appear that housekeeping makes an effort to keep it clean with what they can work with. also, in the laundry, two washers out of two were out of order, soda machine out of order, and vending machine was pathetically stocked. not sure if that worked. Was asked to join the rewards group for comfort inn, and I will absolutely not because I don’t plan on staying at any more of those hotels.
