About This Property
Located across from the Virginia State Capitol, this Richmond hotel features art, photography, furniture, accents and décor that create a Richmond experience. The Museum of the Confederacy and John Marshall House Museum are within walking distance from The Commonwealth. The hotel is 9 miles from Richmond International Airport.

Negatives:
Room was too dark, the air conditioner was very loud and only plastic cups in the bar area. No cups in the bathroom. Also advertised breakfast until 10:30 but when we arrived at 10:10 was told the kitchen closed in 4 minutes. Also they ran out of ham. Also not much of a bar.

The unique artwork in the building was lovely. Especially the paintings on the doors. The staff was very professional and kind.

My room was quite expensive. It was not made clear enough that valet parking was the only option until I had already arrived at the hotel
