The heating system was extremely loud. Also you could hear everything coming from upstairs and next door. Also the woman at the desk during checkout was doing an interview and seemed annoyed when I asked to be helped.

Tru always hits it out of the park. GREAT STAFF, every single one is friendly and will chat with you. They don't just sit behind the counter. They love to recommend places to explore in their town! Thank you Annette for the recommendation for Kathy's for breakfast. (We slept too late to eat in the lobby) Their lobby is a gathering place instead of a pass though. Rooms are spotless, breakfast is plentiful and a nice variety.
Negatives:
It is wonderful that Tru allows pets. But, I saw 2-3 people NOT cleaning up after the dog went on the property. Pretty typical for dog owners. They think it is the staffs job to clean up for their pet! Leave your animal in a kennel if it can't behave, not a hotel! This is not a review of the hotel, but the pet owners. If a place allows you to bring the animal, treat the place with respect! The staff at Tru have enough to do without picking up after your dog!

Very thin walls and they allow dogs in these dogs yap and bark constant and it sounds like it's right outside your room. Not the hotel's fault other than allowing these dogs so I'm not ratingthe hotel for that
