It was close to 64 and an easy drive to VMI. It was pet-friendly.

The breakfast room was fine but the area for making waffles and getting food was too crowded due to the table shape. There was no room to stand and wait. Plus, there were so many BMX bike families eating at the same time that it was crowded.

I loved the convenience to the highway and the staff was so pleasant and sweet.
Negatives:
My last minute booking put me in the pet friendly area which smelled of carpet cleaner which is expected with dirty fur babies. The facility definitely needs some updates and you could tell it was cleaned, but it wasn’t clean. There is only so much you can do with an older property. I think fresh paint and grout would go a long way.
