Our stay here was pretty much exactly as expected. It's a low-priced option in a consistently high-price area, so as one might expect, it's something of a tired old property that has seen better days. That said, the location, only a block from the Spring Hill Metro station, is outstanding. I was satisfied with the value here.
Negatives:
On arrival our room had an overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals, as though in an attempt to cover smoke, but that dissipated within a few hours, and was not a recurring issue.

Key didn't work and light was flickering all night long right outside my window. Cleanliness was a concern - it didn't look like the blanket was swapped out and washed since they opened. Good thing there's no black light. Slept in my clothes.
