Red Lion Hotel Bellevue

Negatives: The Hotel has a very large out door parking area but does not seem to have any (many?) security cameras overlooking it. Certainly no signs saying that video surveillance was present. There were signs clearly stating that the hotel would not be responsible for any car damage or theft. On our first night there, thieves took our Catalytic converter by cutting through the muffler pipe on our car! It was a $600+ repair. Feeling that it was unsafe to continue parking at the hotel I parked my car every night thereafter at the Medical Center underground garage and took an Uber back and forth to the hotel. Needless to say - this made the total cost of parking very expensive.The Hotel did refund the parking fee for the two nights I wasn't parked there but were happy to have me pay for parking for the night that thieves took my Catalytic Converter. The signs clearly said the Hotel was not responsible AND it might have been nice P.R. to get some commiseration and a spontaneous refund of the first night's parking ($11) as a sign of goodwill instead of what landed for me as a completely flat and disinterested affect on the part of the manager. Maybe she was having a tough day - who knows?.

Negatives: Lots of construction going on

Negatives: We had requested the room that we usually stay in are were told by the front desk that we could have that room. When we arrived at the hotel our room had been given to someone else. That was a little disappointing as we made a few phone calls to organize that.

Negatives: Noise! You could hear the highway all day long. Also during my 5 nights stay the room was never cleaned and breakfast not happening properly. Covid is not a good reason for poor service, other hotels work normally.

Negatives: Needed some upkeep

Negatives: Asked for handicap room she said they don’t have any. Shows some on their page. Couldn’t get it warm enough no instructions on tv was not told they added deposit on charge card until I called. No food but we could go to Hotel next to this one. Used Uber cos is 57. For two sandwiches.

Negatives: The breakfast were given in brown paper bags, this isn't communicated when one enquires or books. I feel this should be communicated in advance. To have rooms cleaned and towels changed you have to request 24 hrs in advance. I did that but still got no services. So for the 3 or 4 nights I stayed my room was not cleaned and no fresh towels provided. I feel for a 4 star hotel this should be done and properly.

Negatives: didn’t expect free breakfast would just be a bunch of snacks

Negatives: Luggage cart had a flat tire and there was only one for the entire property. It wasn’t available at checkout. Full breakfast was not available- you have to go to front desk to get a “breakfast bag.”
