Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center Ellensburg

Negatives: Staff was helpful and friendly. overall property was in good condition and rooms were clean.

Negatives: The shower tile grout had mold in it. Get some lights in the parking lot! When you drive up the place looks closed. Get the bar opened. When I went to CWU this was one of the places to go.

Negatives: Upon walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor, you are greeted with an unbelievable dirty door and unpleasant smells. Our room appeared clean, however, in desperate need of a facelift. The furniture was worse than my college student's dorm room (no exaggeration!). Everything wooden appeared to have major water damage. The bathroom was disgusting. Tiles pulling away from the walls, the door was deteriorating, etc. I wanted tea in the morning and the lobby only had green tea, no basic black. I then went for coffee instead and they were out (9am). Couldn't find anyone even at the front desk to help me. Not throwing the front desk agent under the bus, I am pretty sure they are short staffed and that employee was busy doing something else. I have stayed at several Red Lion Inn's and have enjoyed their "retro" flair. This was not retro. This was bad! I did walk by the 1st floor hallway and it appeared much nicer than the 2nd floor and much less smell.

Negatives: Other than a huge sign that said Red Lion out by road there were no distinguishing signs at all I wasn’t even sure it was the hotel

Negatives: The hotel alarm clock going off in the middle of the night, for both me and my friend in another room.

Negatives: It was dirty, old and smelled. The sink and and the tub filled with water. I had water to my ankles by the time my short shower was over. I had to ask for a coffee kit for my room. It was not complimentary. The door on my room stuck so it was almost impossible to get it open. The comforter on one bed was dirty. It was aweful!

Negatives: Not much of a breakfast. Microwave in room was disgusting

Negatives: it was dirty, also states free breakfast. it wasn’t even close to breakfast. just light refreshments. I would have never stayed here. that’s false advertising

Negatives: When we went down to breakfast, the room was cold and dark.

Negatives: Was told to park at the back of the building because my room was located there. Felt like the parking situation was not safe and had to climb stairs to access 2nd floor. It was physically challenging for someone with knee issues. Bathroom toilet would not flush unless handler was held down for a longer than necessary time.

Negatives: Bathroom very small and no vent fan. Shower head leaked and sprayed ceiling. Man in room next door extremely drunk woke us up pounding on the suite/ adjoining room door and hollering. Woke up to him vomiting in the morning. Very thin walls. Refrigerator was in need of defrosting.
