Negatives: the pool wasn’t opened

Negatives: The windows were dirty from outside we couldn’t get to see anything from outside. Other then that everything was just perfect

Negatives: I liked most everything about this motel.

Negatives: Although this is an older property which could obviously use some updating, the facility has a terrific layout design. It seems to be doing some remodeling in the lobby and restaurant area but the rooms in which we stayed on both departure and return of our trip are very old and smell as though the cigarette smoke from years past loves to haunt the rooms. My complaint is the musty, cigarette smell that I could not avoid and honestly will be the reason that we probably will skip this hotel in the future unless that changes. The curtains looked like they had been wet from sprinklers over the years and have never and I mean never been washed or changed. Such an easy fix for a facility with such potential. The courtyard is very nice and sliding doors make it so easy with pets. Other than the very bad smell of cigarette, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and the staff was at both visits the best I have encountered in years. That is very important to me. I would like to return actually to see different rooms, just to know if they all smell the same, or if it is only the suites on the main floor with courtyard access that have this issue.

Negatives: The swimming pool is more like a wading pool and there is no hot tub.

Negatives: Internet was down when we arrived after an 8 hour drive. Staff was completely rude and told me to sit down or go have a drink in the bar..2 staff members both abandoned the front desk for 30 mins. When 1 returned, I asked if I needed to go find another place to stay, and she said no, they were getting a list of who could check in. Never asked my name, never asked if I had a confirmation or if I had already paid. Poor communication and poor training. Then I got a room that was like clear at the other end of the building with no other access. Disappointed in how the Check in was handled. Need some extra training on empathy and contingency plan for internet outages.

Negatives: Some accents, such as lamps and curtains could use updating.

Negatives: Dated, no elevator, understaffed

Negatives: Expected workout room and pool. Neither were useable. A car with expired tags and flat tire was in one of patron parking space near front of building.
