TownePlace Suites by Marriott Seattle Everett/Mukilteo

Negatives: The toilet was broken which hindered our stay. The tank wouldn't refill with water, so when you would go to flush it wouldn't work. Whenever we needed to flush, we had to take the top of the tank off and jiggle the handle inside to get the tank to fill with water so that we could flush. We book a room for three people (a queen bed with a pullout couch). There were no extra sheets in the room, so I had to go to the front desk to get sheets. The first time I walked up there, they only gave me a fitted sheet, no flat sheet or pillow cases. When I realized this I had to walk back to the front desk and ask again. There were no extra pillows either, so I had to borrow one from the bed. The TV was glitchy and we had to log into our own Netflix account which is fine, but the TV would keep disconnecting from Netflix every minute so it was essentially unwatchable. The room had a weird mold/musty smell, and the water from the tap was not good. I think there's old pipes in the building so we had to walk to the 7-Eleven down the street to get bottled water to drink which sucks because normally tap water in Washington is really nice. The hotel was a spa/pool and the pool was closed which is fine, but the spa was empty/no water so we couldn't use it.

Negatives: We had no hot water in the morning. Reported it immediately and evidently there was a water heater malfunction in that building. I did ask for some compensation and still waiting to hear back.

Negatives: Dirty sheets left on couch bed, couch bed not made up as requested, wouldn’t deliver bed sheets/ had to go get it, breakfast was average at best, light bulbs out in room, not enough silverware for 3 people, called a suite but a very small room in actuality. Room was clean enough but didn’t seem fresh. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and pancaked in the middle. Sheets came off the bed at night. Sneakily charged for parking.

Negatives: I booked this hotel because I arrived on a late evening flight and it was close to the car rental location where I was to pick my car up the next day. When I arrived, I was told the hotel was overbooked and they had made a reservation at a different hotel. This hotel was a $35 Uber ride away. The next day I had to Uber back to the car rental location. So I ended up paying over $50 in unnecessary Uber fees!

Negatives: We were there 5 days and the ice maker in our room and the hot tub did not work either

Negatives: I felt it was ridiculous to charge $10 for parking at this motel. It was not an area where parking would be needed by other businesses, etc.

Negatives: Disgusting. It was absolutely filthy as if it never is truly cleaned. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We cancelled and went to a different hotel down the road and saw two other people that were in the lobby of the TownPlace Suites that left and came to the other hotel. They had the same issues.

Negatives: Pool closed, breakfast was OK, room was never cleaned

Negatives: Pool was unusable with algae, washing machine didn't work for laundry, one deinking fountain actually produced water.

Negatives: I think this is expensive as the place is pretty tired looking
