we stayed 3 days and they didn’t send a house keeping during those days… I cleaned by myself and I took new towels everyday from the reception.

only reason to stay at this Hotel.
Also a good Thai Restaurant and Crepe Cafe across the street from the Red Lion Hotel.
Free coffee in the Hotel Office was hot and good quality.
Negatives:
1. Room not ready @4:00 pm. wanted us to wait until after dinner. Finally gave us a different room after we told the hotel clerk we had driven all day.
2. Shower was barely hot enough and shower drain was slow to drain ( plugged ).
3. Hair from the shower stuck on side of bath tub ( Gross )!!
4. Entire property was not updated or kept cleaned.

The front desk people are really nice and welcoming.
Seems like this hotel had the only Perfect location in town right In front of the sea and close to restaurants, coffee shops and food shops..
We were upgraded to a room with a Seaview which made our staying totally different.
Negatives:
The room we had firsthand was at 175$ per night and we were surprised it had a view on... The parking at level 1!
Honestly if we weren't upgraded (because of hot water issue in the first room), I would have probably canceled the reservation and looked for another place the same day.
So I highly recommend to check which view you have before booking.

When they upgraded us to a better room when we complained.

In the first room, the floor was new and looked fine, but it was filthy. After we complained about it, they said they came in and cleaned it, but the next day the black substance on the floor was still getting on our bare feet. We were first offered two rooms on the same annex and they both had the same type floor. Then we were offered the upgrade room, and it was much better with a carpet and view. The women on the front desk, Janice and Sherry were very helpful and found us a better room. Also note that the first room smelled musty like an old motel.
