There was a lot of noise from the room next door—seemed like very little sound-proofing. But it had a connecting door—maybe that was the problem. I was at the end of the hall, so no noise from the other side.
The mattress was not in the least firm—I happened to have a sleeping mat with me so was able to sleep and not wreck my back.

The staff here was very friendly and nice. Their bed are super comfortable. My little sister was obsessed with the pillows they’re so fluffy. It was the perfect choice for our traveling needs. Especially being so close to town. The waffles at breakfast are pretty dang good. We got to take a dip in a hot tub while we washed out clothes across the hall. I’d say I’m pretty satisfied with our stay. I happy with what we got for the price we paid. It was very worth it.

We liked that there were designated covered smoking areas outside, as well as the Jacuzzi  and the TV service was good.
Negatives:
You could hear other people talking in the room next-door very easily, and no one was being really loud or anything and you could still hear them. The free breakfast was not good which is to be expected at places like this I guess. The staff did not get to my question that I sent via Booking.com messaging prior to our arrival, until after we had already checked out and were well on our way to the next town.

Positives:
Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. This is a converted (Days Inn, I believe). Red Lion did a great job upgrading this property but could still be improved upon. The location is not close to town, more adjacent to the highway but far enough away that there is no noise from traffic. Very close to several restaurants, fast-food and traditional as well as a gas station. Perfect location for catching the shuttle to Sea-Tac airport. If you have a car, you are close to all shopping, restaurants and the downtown Port Orchard area and about 5 miles to the Southworth-Fauntleroy ferry to West Seattle and about 3 miles to the Port Orchard to Bremerton passenger only ferry. The breakfast is quite nice, set-up early and there is an attendant is there to assist in making waffle's, bagels etc. This property is an excellent price considering the offerings especially compared to other properties in the general vicinity.
