Location and intimate atmosphere
Had plumbing issues with lengthy repair in one our rooms
Very enjoyable stay with the...
Great location and well maintained property. All staff are exemplary except the gentleman in the late afternoon/evening. He was impolite so that stood out because all other staff were delightful.
Acoustics. You can hear everything. Our room was at the end and we could hear people talking at the elevator and down the hall and next door.
Great stay. Lovelt staff but...
Stayed here for 3 nights whilst holidaying from Australia.
Quirky, fun pineapple theme throughout- plush cute dog on the bed, pineapple pic on pillow, bathrobe etc.
Free welcome drink of your choice from a selection.
No free breakie - but has a few things you can buy- drink, pastries in packets in a fridge in the foyer.
Coffee was sometimes available but not always in the foyer.
Room was clean and had nice decor.
Wifi worked well.
Staff were very friendly and helpful-they happily printed off our bag labels for our luggage for our Alaskan cruise.
Hotel is in a good location- easy walk to space needle, restaurants- lots of choices, handy mini mart, good coffee/donut shop.
Bed was a bit hard for us- but that is personal taste.
To watch movies you had to log into your own Netflix etc account- a few free movie channels would have been nice.
Nice 3 night stay in...
Bed was comfortable.
The complimentary coffee was horrible.
excellent location, close to many places we visited.
water available downstairs was great, games available in lobby was great, all of the pineapple theme was different but cool. availability of bike rentals, comfortable robes and comfortable bedding was great. staff were great.
really good overall and would more than happily stay again!
free drink upon check in was a nice touch
lighting in the room was a little dark. had to use all 4 lamps to get adequate lighting. lacking roof lighting.
shower head leaked a lot and lost water pressure due to that. mini fridge would’ve been good.
convenient, hospitalitble, quirky & comfortable
We loved how we could walk everywhere from the hotel.
We wished their restaurant was open.
Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
This place seems to be aimed at employees of the large corporations based nearby. I suspect that it will suit them fine but it is less suitable for tourists (particularly international travellers arriving at Seattle airport that day).
I didn't like the location. Although the hotel is centrally located, this area of Seattle doesn't feel particularly safe to walk around (day or night). There are lots of boarded up businesses nearby (possibly post-pandemic). Given the cost of the hotel, I would recommend that tourists look for other hotels away from Seattle downtown. I have lived in an area of inner London with high crime for 40 years but I was shocked by how bad downtown Seattle was.
The hotel sends out automated messages which make no sense if you are an international traveller. They kept sending me messages to check-in online on the day that I was travelling to Seattle by plane (asking me to upload passport and credit card information to save time). If they really want that information early then they need to send out the request days before. However, it is an unusual request and I suspect that it reflects the fact that they don't really cater for normal tourists.
The safe wouldn't open (supposedly a battery issue) the night before we left and it couldn't be fixed until the following morning.
I didn't like the decor but that is a matter of taste.
It was clean. It was a little funky. The cookies were great as were the robes etc.
There was literally a train right outside of our window and it was noisy all night
The hotel itself was nice....
