Positives:
Location is perfect for hospital stay. Food is walking distance as well as a good beer. Area for the dog, super dog friendly. Even under construction for remodeling the staff is pleasant, cooperative and the housekeepers are super nice. Room is clean, well kept, has what you need. Once you park, you can walk to the hospital, food and dog area. We have stayed here several times.
Negatives:
Well it was under reconstruction and the elevator is slow. So extra patience was needed. But even under stress of surgery while handling a dog and navigating between the stay and the hospital our stay was pleasant. The extra hours are nice too when you don't know what the hospital plans are for your loved ones. I didn't like that others don't pick up their dog messes, so maybe a daily run thru the dog area with a pooper scooper would be nice.

I've stayed several time at this hotel and done so because of the value. It by no means is luxury, but has always been adequate and clean. This time, the beds were horrible, both hard and unforgiving. The chair was dirty and dusty and the room was missing a hairdryer as it was ripped off the wall, leaving the attachment holes exposed. As always, the staff were approachable and helpful.
