Positives: The bed was comfortable. Towels were clean. Nobody bothered me. Office staff was kind and approachable when I needed to go into the office for messing up my key card or forgetting it my room.
Negatives: The sheets were dusty, there was garbage in the trash can, and the floors were dirty and sticky. I had to use a swiffer dry/wet and still the floor was not completely clean. They were working on remodeling the property. The room door was not flush against the door frame, there was a large gap on the bottom left corner and around it. Oh and one morning there was a huge cockroach in the room.

Negatives: Big ass gap under the door. The door didn't shut all the way correctly, had some chick high on something being Hella loud put side our door crying at 3am making my dog bark.

Positives: The double security latch on the door. I had stayed there previously for a reservation extended totaling 28 days, and I had checked out Friday, then thought 48hours was a big enough gap so I made another reservation for Sunday. I arrived to check in and was told she couldn't check me in until the following day so I'd need to contact Booking to adjust it. When I called Booking, she needed to call property to confirm so I went on hold. While I was waiting, there was some confusion and disagreement between the property and because once the property got off the phone she was clearly upset and disgruntled-as I would be too. She went ahead and overrided my check in to be accepted for that day which made me relieved. But the rest of the transaction was uncomfortable and left me feeling personally responsible in some way-I had even apologized for the inconvenience because I had no problem in waiting the extra day.
Negatives: This was not the first hiccup with a reservation at this location, I'm usually very understanding.. I stayed in room 125. The fridge was broken and smelled like paint on the inside. Upon first checking into the room, it smelled so intensely of paint fumes that it was nauseating for 3 days. The door didn't seal as it had clearly been broken into or broke open multiple times so door loosely latched and it had no insulation or filler to block out the cold air the smoke aromas from other guests smoking outside the room. The only other downfall of the room was multiple times through the night, every night, you would wake to a loud bang sound as if someone hit a metal beam with a hammer that would come from people hanging by the stairs. The office staff had given me keys when we checked in, but after 3 days they had been reset. And when I had them reset the key for my room, it was only set for 1 more day, for the remainder of my stay. There was an excessive amount of suspicious behavior with many of the guests, one morning I woke up to someone passed out in their car along the curb by my door. The next morning we went to leave and another car was parked by the curb, the driver appeared zoned out, and the other person with the passenger door wide open, puking outside over the foot step on their vehicle. In the room there was one source of light; BRIGHT Spot light style lights scattered across the ceiling linked to the switch by the door and the light over the sink didn't work, lighting in the bathroom wasn't great unless the shower curtain was open. If the check in had been less personal and less hostile, I would have felt more acceptable to reach out and request a possible change in room, etc but being as I had a little kid with me and the process had already taken over 30 minutes from the time I had walked into an empty Lobby, I didn't want to further aggravate the receptionist with a complaint of a less than Check-in-Ready room.
