Disaster PreparednessWake Forest, NC - May 24, 2013 - Hurricane season is now upon us - running from June 1 - November 30.  It is expected to be a very busy hurricane season this year.  NOAA predicts 12 -18 named storms with 6 -10 becoming hurricanes, 3-6 of which may be major hurricanes.
