Will Rogers State Hist. Park

Will Rogers State Historic Park was Will Roger's home. He was most known for his tricks with horses and ropes. He was also an actor both on stage and screen. In 1944, upon Mrs. Rogers' death, their home was turned into a historic park. The ranch is home to the only outdoor polo field in Los Angeles County. In addition to the history of Will Rogers life and accomplishments the ranch is also currently a working ranch. It's a great place to bring your pooch (there is a $1 entry fee for your pup). Dogs are not allowed in the ranch house itself however, you can accompany your leashed pooch to the horse barn, the outdoor property, including Inspiration Point Trail.
