Sleeping Giant State Park has everything you could want in for an outdoor adventure -- scenic nature trails, a trout stocked fishing stream, and an observation tower, where you can see the two miles of mountaintop that give the park its name, as they are said to resemble a sleeping giant. Dogs are welcome to visit the park's picnic areas and hiking trails, but they are not allowed in any park buildings. They must be leashed, cleaned up after, and under their human companion's control at all times.
