Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah National Park is a very yappy place. It is not only one of the mose lush forests with a wide range of wildlife, it is also amongst the most dog friendly of all the National Parks. This park spans over 300 hundred miles of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has over 500 miles of trails including a segment of the Applachian Trail. All size dogs are welcome here and be sure to use a leash no longer than 6 feet. Dogs cannot enter the buildings and there are specific trails (about 14 miles) that are off limits so be sure to ask for a map that indicates the different trails. Happy hiking!
