Superb
Positives:
Central location, spacious room. Good facilities.
Negatives:
In a side road next to Yonge Street with lots of roadworks around. Not their fault, obviously.

Exceptional
Positives:
Being in the heart of downtown Toronto was amazing, was lovely to have an apartment style hotel room for myself, and the hotel was very clean! Registration and check-out was easily done through text, and there was regular communication via text.
Negatives:
I didn't love using the app as a key because it didn't seem to work easily. Also, staff could have been a little friendlier.

Pleasant
Positives:
Great central location close to Union Station which wsa ideal because we rode in on the Via. We arrived early and hoped to simply drop off our bags while we got the day started. The staff were welcoming and very accomodating finding us a room so we could check in rather than just store our bags at the front desk. Unexpected—great customer service to start our stay.

It is a good location...
Positives:
Front desk staff and hotel manager friendly. Nice bathroom.
Negatives:
Whilst the location of this hotel looks good on a map, it is tucked down a side street in a very sketchy location and is not at all safe for lone travellers. Every day there was someone there high on drugs, taking drugs in front of you and/or semi naked on the street; whilst this is to be expected in most major cities now, when it's on a quiet side street at night, it feels far from safe. The hotel advertises itself as a chic boutique hotel but it is more akin to a very average apartment hotel. The restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment for the entire duration of my stay and had I known, I would not have booked the hotel. The hotel website continues to advertise its restaurant with no indication it is currently closed. The booking.com site doesn't have this info either. Housekeeping omitted to come on one day of my stay.
