Positives: “Do not pay a deposit to this hotel. I booked two rooms, and they insisted on taking a $200 CAD deposit by credit card only—no cash option. It’s been over eight days, and I still haven’t received my refund. When I call, the hotel tells me to check with my bank, but the bank says I need to contact the hotel. I offered to pay cash for the deposit and get it back at checkout, but they refused. Avoid this place if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting your money back.”

Positives: Great location. Walkable to Union Station and downtown.

Negatives: We didn’t get the room we booked and paid for. Somehow we ended up with a down grade. A tad disappointing as there were two of us and we were not able to accommodate two suitcases and people.
