There is no parking here which is odd. They don't comp the parking garage next door. Also my hotel neighbor was up all night talking on the phone and we could hear everything. Luckily we brought earplugs. For $200 a night I shouldn't hear anything.

The lobby looks ok but who cares about the lobby? The staff were very nice.

The room was much smaller and gloomier than what was depicted. Furnishings ageing and dated. This felt like a 3 star not 4 star hotel. I would not want to spend a day working in that room, too depressing.

Expensive stay that does not...
Positives:
We didn't have breakfast, but the coffee pot coffee in the room was fine. We were able to easily walk to our dinner reservation and to our concert at Berkeley. It is a good location downtown.
Negatives:
The television did not work, and when we called down to the front desk we didn't get any help, as we were told maintenance was gone since it was 10:30pm. Our view overlooked a construction site, and at 6:30am the very loud construction noise woke us up. It was not a pleasant experience.
