The location is unbeatable for those transiting SFO. It's not just near the airport, it's at the airport, with a dedicated stop on AirTrain (every 4 or 5 minutes!) which connects the various passenger terminals on a circular route. It has good restaurants open until late at night & a food "market" open 24/7.

Property on tarmac at SFO, good for an 0’dark AM flight departure. Air Train to SFO for quick access.
Negatives:
The hotel design and aesthetic do not stand out for the price. The room, food and drinks are very expensive. For a 12 hour stay it cost me, a solo traveler, ~ $500 with room, food (meal/ drink) and hotel TAXES. Understanding, you’re paying for proximity to SFO.
On morning departure, Air Train was out of service. SFO sent a shuttle to departure gate defeating the whole reason to stay at the Hyatt Grand.

Would stay again, so easy to get to and from. It is a true peaceful haven next to a busy airport and big freeway. Although it was noisy it was a great stay. The restaurant and the staff was excellent a little bit pricey. The Fitness center was just perfect.

Just the noise from the road and airport but it is understandable.
And maybe the prices, pretty hefty prices for a bottle of water and no kettle in the rooms for a tea.

I didn't want to leave.

My flight was postponed to the next day so I had to spend a night at the SFO airport and was able to get a room at short notice. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was spaceous with enought room for my luggage and the airport train has a stop directly at the hotel which makes the trip to and from the terminal very convenient.
