Positives:
Booked room based off neutral location close to FIU for graduation.Close by area malls, shopping, food. Overall the hotel was clean, fairly modern, helpful and friendly staff, free coffee, on-site dining options, and plenty of parking.
Negatives:
Doubletree:
-Listing tips added thru the hotel's app for room delivery as 'service charge' instead of 'tip' prompting me to leave another tip at the door. Multiple calls and conversations required to request refund on double tips.
-Charged $7 for one 16oz bottle of iced tea.
-Blankets scratchy.
-Pillows flat.
-Could only control bed-side lights with main switch that controled light by the door.
Booking.com:
-Booked room based on inaccurate pictures and description listed for Queen Room, depicted for 2-room suite.
-Unable to modify reservation for additional night. Had to make a separate reservation resulting in 5 separate authorization holds on 2 different credit cards affecting credit limit.

The fact that I was being invoiced for another amount of about 100 -$ at the check in. Not refundable.

Far away from city. Ok for airport arriving after a long flight.
Poor breakfast. So many sweets... No vegetables. No ham. No cheese.
They do omlets but they do not offer you. You need to ask.
