Very cozy and located near everything I needed. Rose in housekeeping went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She left a special birthday treat for my daughter, a wonderful surprise. All staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

Positives:
The location was perfect, my husband and I didn’t have breakfast. Complimentary snacks that were promised were just water and coffee pods. We felt like breakfast would’ve been a waste.
Negatives:
The room was very dirty and dusty, I had to do cleaning myself. The baseboards were very filthy, complimentary snacks were just water and coffee. Wish o had time to take photos to share how dirty the room was.

Positives:
When I arrived at the hotel at 7:30pm, no one was there to open the hotel up to me. Given the poor street lighting, the doors were locked, and I never got to stay at the hotel. I called multiple times, and eventually went and got another hotel room at another hotel chain.
Negatives:
After being denied I had to wait for a car to come pick me up to take me to another hotel.

Hotel Chicago is my home away from home when I attend live music events. Low-key, off the beaten path but so close! No frills, but sparklingly clean and absolutely safe, with a friendly and helpful staff! At a decent price.
Negatives:
Seemed empty last week, but front desk was turning folks away. What gives? Almost eerily quiet for a “full” hotel.

It was close to the united center.
Negatives:
No one said that the parking garage would be closed at 930. No one said there would be no way to get to our vehicle. It’s just trapped in the garage til morning. Thank god it wasn’t an emergency. Just really inconsiderate for people coming from out of town and don’t know where to park. They said it would be okay if we left it there. But like damn you could have at least warned us so we could have moved it.
