Our room was overbooked. We were not informed our room was not available until we arrived to check-in (even though the staff knew 3 hours before we arrived that our room was not available). They informed us a room had been secured for us at a nearby hampton Inn, but it was not as convenient or had the amenities of the Home2Suites (namely EV charging stations). Once we arrived at the Hampton, the first room they gave us was right next to the elevator and had obviously either been smoked in or had housed heavy smokers. They moved us to another room that was much better. The next morning after we went to breakfast and came back to our room, our key would not work. Apparently, this room had been oversold as well and we had to move rooms one more time. Why make a reservation, if you can't be assured you will actually have a room?!? The staff tried their best to make it work for us but the system is seriously flawed.
