Nothing worked in the room. No closet and the pull down clothes hanger was broken. Bathtub deserter broken. No drawers in room. No Chanel guide.

I could have stayed somewhere else. Charging me a fee, to see if I tore up the room is nothing more than illegal. Holding $50 of everyone's money for 10 days is crime! What do they think two 70yr old retired people are going to mess up?

Negatives:
There was blood on the pillow case and sheets. We had to changed rooms. The second room refrigerator was not working. In addition to this there was no dresser draws to put your clothes and a make shift closet to hang your clothes. The next day we asked for a late check out the front desk clerk replied we already maxed our late check outs for the day. I told her we checked in late last night and had to change rooms and did not rest well last night, still no late check out. We immediately checked out of the hotel. Thank God it was a one night stay.

The room did not seem overly clean. There was someone else's hair in the shower. A surrounding floor tile was broken off and left when we entered the room. No toilet paper provided so we were told we had to come to the front desk and get it ourselves. No soap dish for the faucet so just on the counter it went.

The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the use of the luggage cart. Our request to not have guests with pets in rooms around us was accommodated. The room was clean as expected. Check-in was quick.
Negatives:
The shower/tub needs a grab bar so that guest have something to hold on to when they get out of the tub/shower. Location, Location. Because the hotel has only one entrance and the design of the roadway (concrete median), we missed the turn into the hotel and had to turn at the next light, go back over the interstate, turn around, come back over the interstate again and finally turn into the road leading to the hotel. Better signage at the street would really help.

I don’t understand why we received a park bill for parking at the hotel? The furnishing was old and the bathtub was stained.
Negatives:
I don’t understand why we had to pay for parking at the hotel. This was not a hotel with a parking garage. The furnishing in our room was old and the bathtub was stained. I couldn’t be sure that the sheets had been changed on the bed because they were wrinkled when I pulled the duvet cover down. These were minimal accommodations.
