Positives:
Location was convenient and in a new area with open space to walk my dog without traffic. Easy to find right off the highway, it's also quiet and safe on the outskirts of Dickinson. Within a mile are great places to eat, including BBQ. Clean and well-run.
Positives:
Main front doors were locked, apparently broken. A small hand written sign says to do to the side door. In an ice covered and poorly plowed parking lot, I navigated to the side door where I'm met with a sign that says u need a room key to access this door. I find another side door on the opposite side of building in a dark corner with no signage at all. It was unlocked, the. A maze of stairs and hallways to eventually find lobby. Had I not already paid on booking.com for the room I would have left and found another. Really crappy way to make a first impression on your arriving guests. I watched as 7 different people had the same issues I had getting in, struggle like I did during the 30 min it took trying to get in and navigate the ice bergs in the parking lot that was slippery and snow covers as hell. All of the other people I mentioned, left. That's a ton of lost revenue. You should have left the main doors open half way, there are many space heaters going in the entry anyway, and allow the second set of doors to keep the bulk of the cold out instead of pissing off customers , loosing business and now getting a crappy review. Other than that the place was okay, nice little shop for snacks, well equipped room, staff was nice other than not seeming to care as people struggled to get in while it's -25 and snowing. Would have been a 9 out of 10 otherwise.
