Positives:
I liked the location. It was close to the Kirby Center. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
The staff opened the door in the morning and notified me, who was woken up by the intrusion, that they were checking the carbon monoxide detector. I was very upset and notified the front desk that it was unacceptable. The manager assured me she would make it right and apologized. I received a 50 dollar gift card for Best Western. I think when you're on vacation that you should be able to enjoy peace and quiet, and that's not what happened at all.

Positives:
Close proximity to the venue we were going to. Very friendly staff at the front desk and free breakfast was great! Kitchen staff was also very nice and kept asking if everything was ok.
Negatives:
Close to restaurants and venue so we could walk. And we even met the mayor of Wilkes Barre who was so nice and friendly.

Positives:
Room was comfortable, free breakfast daily was very nice! Great location, could walk to all local places we wanted to visit. Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
No daily housekeeping service, so had to take our own trash from the room. The carpet in our room could've used cleaning. Restaurant was not open at all.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was very close to The Kirby Center for the concert.

It was close to the venue where we were going to see a show. The room was comfortable.
Negatives:
I didn’t like that there was no door where the sink was in our room. If you turned on the sink light, it would flood the darkened room with light. Also would have been great to have fresh fruit on the buffet.

Great location with lovely rooms...
Positives:
The free breakfast wasn't too bad, better than most. But this location is very dated, could use a good facelift. The last working the front desk at night was very nice. The rom was really quite, which was great because I've been to hotels where all you here is outside noises.
Negatives:
The lady working the front desk during the day was a bit rude. Everything is rather dated and could use some TLC. The beds are really small and some new pillows would be great.
