It was clean, quiet, comfortable and fit our budget. There were lots of places to choose from to eat nearby and we met nice people.

The door had to be pushed close with force and the metal/concrete steps are a fall hazard outside our room.

It's very close to the historic downtown - for us within walking distance. It was also very easy to get to Shenandoah NP and the Blue Ridge Parkway from there. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very nice and helpful.

The staff could have been better at communicating. I reserved the room for the 3rd and was planning to check out at 11 am and continue my journey towards NY. The guy at the front desk told me I can’t check in before 3pm and if I were to check in early there will be $66 fee so I paid that too. Later on the front desk guy tried to charge hundred dollars more on my card so the bank blocked my card due to fraudulent activity. And I never got my refund. Overall the most terrible experience I’ve ever had.
