Good location downtown Seattle. Close to the piers and Pike Place Market. Walking distance from the train station (a bit uphill and about 10-15', but easy).

I was able to bring my cat. He loved looking out over the street from the second floor window. I relaxed. It was still quiet being in the middle of town.

No coffee machine. But then I only had an essential room. I stay at casino hotels a lot and always enjoyed free coffee to make in room.

Front Desk staff and Concierge were both helpful and accommodating, esp after a bit of trouble finding my reservation in the system.

Coffee is not nearly as good as it used to be. (This is a small Big Deal!)

Very expensive, charged us extra charges with no notice (ex for car valet parking )also they charged us twice for the room and it took 3 calls to have reimbursement. At the hotel the morning of our departure they dismissed my noticing of this error and were condescending.

Longtime Monaco visitor. The Hotel Monaco personal touch is gone. It’s a byproduct of not enough staff with not enough training and not enough personal Moxie.
It’s also a byproduct of this millennial generation. Customer service is rare these days.
