Property was 30 miles West of Charleston, WV. It was NOT anywhere near Charleston although it stated it was in West Charleston. What they meant was that they were WAY west of Charleston. We arrived after 11 pm. We went to location I thought I booked, wrong location. Had to drive at least 32 miles to West Charleston which was halfway to Huntington! Room did not smell fresh. Heater did not work well. We awoke at 10:45 am and called the Office to ask for a late check-out and were told that would be an extra $25. So, no morning shower. Rush to get out to avoid being charged extra. Barely had time to brush our teeth and get dressed.

there is nothing positive about this experience
Negatives:
property was a motel which was not listed on booking. just that is was a red roof inn. was going to stay anyway but then room dirty. linens looked as if someone left body fluids on the sheets and not clean. cigarette ashes on the frame and box springs. box springs cover looked as if never washed. mattress covers ripped. smell people smoking drugs. hotel staff attendant acted as if a nasty room was no big deal.

The room seemed clean but stink bugs were everywhere. The bathroom was tiny. The beds were small and the pillows were paper thin. We didnt sleep good.
