Positives:
The bed was comfortable, that was the only positive side of this stay.
Negatives:
The room is really outdate. When we got to the room it smelled like and old grandma's house where people used to smoke. Thankfully we could open the windows to air things out. The bathroom fan was non functional and there were hair on the bathroom floor. Not a hotel I would stay in again. I recommend paying a bit extra and staying elsewhere, to ensure a restful night sleep. I have stayed in many hotels in Edmonton in the recent years and this was certainly the worse so far (although I haven't tried the cheap dingy motels!)

I travel a lot all over the country. On average I spend 8 plus nights a month in hotels for work and leasure. This is the second room review I have ever submitted....that should tell you something!!!
My room was filthy!!
Bathroom walls needed to be cleaned and the carpet in the room was dirty!!
I checked in late and was completely exhausted!! Got in bed and realized the TV did not work, absolutely no power. I checked the outlet and wall plugs, lamp worked...just not the TV.
I phoned the front desk to be told they could send someone up as some point that night.
I explained I was in bed, but they needed to know the TV needed to be fixed. I couldn't switch roos as I was already settled.
Front desk wanted to send someone up in the middle of the night to fix it. Again, after telling her several times I was already in bed. It was not a quick fix and I wasn't staying up or waiting for maintenance at 10pm.
Next morning, bathtub was plugged and took about 20min to drain.
Went down to have breakfast at 9:40am and breakfast was closed!! Couldn't even get a coffee!! Closed at 9:30 on Monday morning...
Never again!!
Save your money and spend the extra $10 room incase somewhere else, you might even be able to get a coffee.
