I thought it was overpriced. I came down the first night to go outside for a cigarette front door was chain shut and they had my information on the back of a piece of paper saying, back in 15 minutes. It's taped to the door I was not happy yet all my information was on there and when I read it. I also found out that my room was quoted on there for half the price that I paid. Which every time I asked all of a sudden, they couldn't speak english.
And I had to talk to the manager the next day. Even the day I was checking out overall garbage room. Dirty jet tub didn't work. Fireplace didn't work. Shower dirty barely cleaned. The only thing clean in there was the bad spread overall. Absolute garbage would never will never recommend or ever stay there again.

This was probably one of the worst places I've stayed. For starters, I had upgraded my room to a double bedded one, only to be given a room with one bed, which was, after pointing this out, begrudgingly changed. The room's amenities were very bare bone. The telephone and ice bucket were missing, but there was a hole in the bathroom door and constantly flickering lights. The beds were moderately comfortable. There was one issue, however, that I cannot ignore. The building had 2 fire doors at opposite ends of the second floor, one of which was locked during the day. My daughter had to run out in front of the hotel in the pouring rain to collect our food delivery, instead of being able to safely (and dryly) walk through the lobby.
The hotel's lack of care of the basics and blatant disregard for fire safety prove to me that this is not a good place to stay and I will not be returning to the Ramada if I find myself in Abbotsford again.

We were amused by the supplied iron without an ironing board.
Negatives:
Dirty, it smelled BAD, no hand towels, no glasses, bathroom was falling apart, 4 channels on TV, one English, one Filipino, one jammed on a Depends undergarments commercial. Crummy little toiletries. Door did not lock without slamming it. Attached restaurant was permanently closed. We stayed two hours and left.

No elevator. Ice bucket with no lid. Unfriendly reception staff. One tiny, tiny soap bar for shared use between sink and shower. No hair dryer. Small bath towels which had stains on them. The one chair had fabric with stains and holes. I paid $358 Cdn for one night and one person and got a really bad room in exchange.
