Positives:
For Kamloops, this is a nice hotel. Unfortunately, our stay was unpleasant.
Negatives:
Our experience started with the communication ahead of our trip. The hotel did not respond to any messages sent through Booking.com. That caused complications for our travel plans. The staff directed all blame to Booking.com.
Our room was small, dark and had a view of a building. It wasn't worth anything. The HVAC unit for the floor (we assume) was in a closet in our room and put out 75db, constantly. It drove us nuts at night and sort of forced us out into the weather to escape it. If you're expecting a luxury, you will be disappointed.
The bathrooms were not very clean. Stuff like long black hairs, "cream" residue, that sort of thing. Gross stuff.
The thing that upset us most was the bedding. The hotel doesn't use duvet covers so you sleep under the juices and dead skin of every guest that came before you. The sheets were old and worn, to the point that they had those little balls, and itched.
We stayed at two Delta (Marriot) hotels on our trip and had problems at both. The Marriot Bonvoy team were neither helpful nor concerned with our experience and took and directed responsibility to Booking.com.

Centrally located with all facilities excellent. Great room and outdoor swimming pool on level 2 a welcome surprise.
Negatives:
Breakfast on Sunday morning disturbed (for me and others) by a very loud member of staff behind the bar whose conversations could be heard all over the restaurant.
