This place was dirty and I wouldn't let a dieing dog eat here.

Most of the rooms were boarded up with plywood, and homeless people were squatting in the rooms. When we walked to our room, the door was open in the suite next door, and the room was filled with garbage. It looked like a condemned refugee camp.

Although the bedding, towels and room were perfectly clean, it was alarmingly shabby, with peeling wallpaper, crumpled sheets and pillowcases and a very stained bathtub, with three spiders in it. There was a hole in the shower head, which sent most of the water jetting off to one side. When I arrived, the room was stiflingly hot and I had to call for help to reduce the temperature the thermostat was unmarked and impossible to figure out how to adjust. The outlets were very loose and when I tried to plug in my electronics, most of them just fell out again.
