As with most places like this, the walls are very thin. They had complimentary earplugs already in the room, though!

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there was a fridge. We could hear the traffic noise and early morning noise from the construction site nearby, however Zed provided ear plugs which was thoughtful

I booked my room to attend a festival that happened at City Park. Hotel Zed was perfect for me because I could walk to and from the event in (literally) minutes. I didn't have to worry about driving back to my room because I could just walk back! Hotel Zed is also right around the corner from Bernard street which is where the restaurants are. Again, extremely ideal being centrally located. I was also grateful to receive early check-in (thank you!).
Negatives:
The bathroom could've been a bit cleaner. I had to change the roll of toilet paper because it wasn't full. There was also a dead bug in the sink and tub. Not sure if this was a bad coincidence but the receptionist said that the room was *just* cleaned. Also, to add to the cleaning, I'd consider cleaning the carpets as there was a smell lingering.
The noise wasn't ideal. There were people in the room on each side of mine and I could hear their entire conversations (I could also hear the family above me). One of the parties was exceptionally loud but thankfully they only stayed the night. I was woken up to the sound of *very loud music* that happened at around 11:30 p.m. coming from speakers. Again, it's a motel, so you will hear sirens, music, and people but something to note as it's fairly expensive to stay.

Extremely small parking spaces. Rooms were small and no dog bowl. Was advised we should’ve asked for dog bowl. However it didn’t say on booking.com that you should request. They advertise tea/coffee - but this is not in the room and you have to go to reception for this. (Ridiculous - who wants to do that!)
