Fire evacuation procedures were ignored by staff the front desk person saud that he just started fire alarm went off. Guests asked for their money back because this was the second time during their stay that the alarm went off. Also their PIN transaction machine has no cover so their surveillance camera catches everyone’s PIN.

Positives:
Breakfast room was under renovation but the hotel made sure to still provide adequate breakfast for the guests. Parking was free. Location was great right in the middle of downtown PG. Staff was very accommodating. There was an iron in the room.
Negatives:
The room had a smell of old furniture, but it was clean. You will notice that some of the fixtures are a bit worn out but all are still functional. No room slippers.

As far as we could tell except for the ground floor the place is tired, our room was certainly ready for refurbishment.
The stairs, if you used them were not cleaned regulary.

Positives:
Reception lady at evening shift is very resourceful and friendly. This is the best part that we like.
Negatives:
Breakfast is very minimal, can't find hot water for tea and hard boiled eggs are served at a time when we left to check out. Room is ok for cleanliness. The bedsheet and pillow case obviously are quite worn out. The car park is packed. Hard to find a space if you checked in late. Safety issue - saw several vagrants around the car park area, and the car park space at the corner has the smell of urine.

The room size was excellent. The bed was comfortable. There was a small refrigerator which was appreciated. The staff were very helpful. Even though the breakfast room was under construction, the hotel provided muffins, juice, fruit in the foyer.
Negatives:
We were taken aback upon check-in to be notified that the breakfast room was under construction and closed. We had opted for this hotel for the fact that breakfast was included and feel we should have been notified prior to checkin. The hotel is under renovation and unfortunately looks well used from the outside.
