Positives:
Not much to be honest, but I guess the staff was very polite and professional, which was definitely a plus.
Negatives:
1) Bathroom wasn't cleaned properly
2) It feels like a hotel from the mid 90's. Everything looked and felt old
3) Only 1 elevator, often crowded around breakfast time
4) Location seemed perfect given the distance from the International Airport, however, you could hear the airplanes every hour or so at night, which made it very difficult to get some proper sleep
5) A strange and unpleasant smell comming from the AC
Hotels are inexplicably expensive in Vancouver (just like everything else is in that city), even the most affordable ones such La Quinta. However, I've stayed in similarly priced hotels in Alberta and Ontario, and they were much more pleasant in every possible way.

Clean, spacious room. Pool/hot tub was nice and warm.

Pool area was slightly small but good value for money. Same with breakfast, smaller selection but value for money.

Positives:
It’s a nice place to stay and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has his own free parking places and is located in an area with lots of good Asian restaurants. The breakfast was good. The buffet had enough to choose from. Scrambled eggs, sausages, serials, breads, coffee, tea, juices and you can make your own waffles at a baking station. Price quality is good!

The hotel is a bit outdated but okay and clean.

Not much. The front desk ladies were very nice.

This place was horrible. So so so dirty. I would say filthy. I got an asthma attack just walking in the hallway to my room. The shower looked like it had never been scrubbed. absolutely disgusting. The worst hotel shower Ive ever seen. I don’t understand how people give a good quote to this establishment. There were white marks on the fabric around the box spring that were clearly human fluids. We saw them at many places around both our beds. Also you are right under the plane landing line. So bring some good earplugs cause the windows are very thin. The breakfast was disappointing for someone who needs protein. Hard boiled eggs (bought boiled already and feel like ping pong balls) . And some weird turkey sausages. No scramble eggs and bacon like on the pictures ) … This stay was extremely disappointing. Saw bugs around the pool too.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. The breakfast was really excellent. No one ever had turkey sausage. It’s always pork which I don’t eat. What a pleasant surprise. Also the shellfish shack next door is a must.
Negatives:
This is so minor but ….cheese. The continental breakfast had everything to make the best breakfast sandwich ever but didn’t have sliced cheese or cheese whiz (only cream cheese). Would’ve brought the whole thing together lol

Negatives:
Laundry facility- horrible. Took $20 to dry a load of laundry and staff dealt very poorly with it. Wouldn’t help at all with cost and didn’t seem concerned to deal with it. It should be priority to A- reimburse for at least half if that cost and B- act like you just may recommend to have the machine looked at. It took 2 hours and 40 min to dry one load.
