A variety of eateries and pubs can be found around town, including Sherlock's restaurant and Waddling Dog lounge, both located on hotel premises. The breakfast was ok pretty standard buffet breakfast. The hotel was quaint and near where we wanted to be. Was clean and the staff were friendly. Bed was very comfortable.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel but it was nice and clean and quiet. Would stay there again.

The location was perfect for a family wedding we were there to attend. The hotel is attached to the Waddling Dog pub. We enjoyed a couple of drinks/meals there. The room was great. For a 70 year old inn, the rooms had been renovated and they were very spacious. Lots of counter space, room for your luggage, closet, separate coffee station, roomy bathroom with adequate counter space. Bar size fridge (empty) for your use, and a microwave. Even though the room was close to the elevator, I never heard any elevator noise. The bed was SO comfortable. Very good sleeps at the Quality Inn. They have also instituted a policy that no one will enter your room during your stay unless you ask. So, no daily housekeeping, which I thought was very forward thinking. After 3 days they will check to see if you require anything. We only stayed 2 nights, and it was nice to know we didn't have to put a Do Not Disturb tag on the door. I think more properties should emulate this policy. The front desk staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful! This little inn was a really nice surprise!
Negatives:
Just personal preference, but I don't care for plastic or paper cups/glasses for coffee/water. Prefer mugs/glasses. However, I understand this is a way for them to be more efficient and not coming in your room to replace dirty dishes. The included breakfast was nice to have, but the eggs and sausage combo, particularly the preformed patties of both were a little disappointing. No full breakfast here. Offerings of juice, coffee, yogurt, muffins, etc., as well. I am celiac and require gluten free, so I need to stick with eggs and sausages are sketchy for me due to fillers. Many places still don't understand the need to provide gluten free offerings, but it's for the many not the few as I am used to that. I'm also not a fan of paper plates/cups and plastic cutlery. Since we were only there for a couple of mornings, it was fine and it filled the hole and I was grateful! We thought about going to the Waddling Dog down the hall for brunch or across the street to the White Spot, but we were checking out and heading off in a variety of different directions so the option provided expedited our journey.
