Positives:
Retro vibes. Well thought out rooms. Had an inner courtyard room, so the stay was not noisy!
Decent laundry facility an added bonus.
Turn down mocktails and snacks a nice gesture.
Would stay again for certain.

Pleasant
Positives:
Absolutely adorable boutique style location. You can clearly tell they have put the work into redoing and spending the money on a super old building that’s now been brought back to life. Front staff were exceptional, check in was quick and easy after a long travel, super clean, and very quiet as it’s a concrete building. Although it was October long weekend, it was 17 degrees and quite warm so we were thrilled there was AC and temp control for a comfortable sleep. We had a side facing city view for people watching and a room that backs onto the adorable interior tropical garden. It’s a great stay for small families or a weekend get away with friends. TV was brand new, and huge for a small room, so that was a nice aspect for cozy movie watching at night. Beds were clean and comfortable, and check out was a breeze. The location makes it very easy to hop on just about any kind of transit close by.
Negatives:
The only cons to the property is the location is tough with the homeless population and being close to the hospital, and there is road work currently, but this is out of their control. They have a secure gated property, as well as gated parking, so that’s really the only thing one can do to combat what goes on out in the big city.

Positives:
Location to restaurants
Negatives:
Directly across from a hospital. Sirens blaring all day and night. We had a front room, and friends with garden view didn't hear the sirens from their room

Very nice, but you don't...
Positives:
The staff were very friendly and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The free bike rentals were a great perk and having a coffee shop attached to the hotel was pretty convenient, too. The location is great for exploring downtown and the West End.
Negatives:
The bed wasn't that comfortable as the mattress was very soft. There was also quite a bit of noise from the neighboring rooms (like doors slamming) especially during the cleaning period which seemed to last all day, strange for a relatively small hotel.

Super friendly staff, great location,...
Positives:
Location was fine, nice part of town. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately these are the only aspects of our stay that I have anything nice to say.
Negatives:
Where to begin... check in was a nightmare, I had someone call ahead to organize my late check in because it was my wedding day and then you called me three times during my wedding speech to confirm again time of check in. The room was boiling hot when we got in there and the portable ac unit was incredibly loud so disturbed our sleep throughout the night. We spent a lot of money on this room and made it very clear that it was my wedding day and there was not a single ounce of care or hospitality to accommodate that. I had to ask twice for a cart because we had so much luggage and was not even brought a cart at check out time to take all my items downstairs. 2 staff members working in the morning and could clearly see me and my wife struggling with our luggage and neither of them left the counter to open the door for us. There is zero option for room service even though there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. I had to Uber eats a breakfast in bed for us which wasn't allowed to be delivered to my room so I had to venture downstairs. I was charged some ridiculous fee due to FIFA which is NOT in vancouver until next year so I feel incredibly ripped off. $700 a night for your hotel is a complete rip off for the lack of amenities and caring staff you have. We have been looking forward to staying in the Burrard for years but have never been able to afford, but we decided to splurge for our wedding night and were utterly disappointed by our experience.
