Travelodge by Wyndham Miramichi New Brunswick

Negatives: I will state the obvious - the hotel is quite old and "quirky". Walking down the hallway, you will walk uphill and then downhill, before you reach the end of the hall. The doors don't close correctly - a large opening at the top, as they don't fit.

Negatives: I got there at 4 my room was supposed to be ready wasn’t ready until after 7 and nothing was reimbursed

Negatives: We didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool or any other amenities this time, but we will next time for sure

Negatives: Large puddles in the parking lot when it rains. Motion sensing doors at the main entrance would make a huge improvement.

Negatives: Doors are quite thin so certain voices on the floor cannot be overheard.

Negatives: Having stayed at this hotel before, we noticed that it looks very worn out. Carpets are dirty and worn through. Hallways and stairwells look very dirty. We checked into our first floor room to find it had a broken toilet seat as well as used plastic toothpicks laying on the floor beside the bed. There is no reason for cleaning staff to not pick up used trash like this. It makes us think that if cleaning staff missed something so obvious, what else did they ignore? We changed rooms to the second floor to find the television remote did not work. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available, so as it was late at night we stayed in this room. The next morning we found used dirty "Q-tips" laying on the floor behind the toilet. Again, makes us wonder what else did the cleaning staff miss? The next day the TV remote was replaced. Breakfast is rather bland, the same as it has been for many years. On our first morning, the coffee machine would not work and apparently no one knew how to fix it. We drove to Tim Horton's to pick up coffee. The luggage stand in our room was so old and covered with rust that it could not be opened. Makes us believe that the owners of this hotel don't care how it looks. The alarm in the room beside us (with ajoining doors) went off at 2:00 am. It rang till 4:30 am. Repeated calls to the front desk finally had us informed that they are not allowed to enter the room to shut off the alarm as it might disturb the occupant. They did not care that we were up all night. We later learned that the room was not occupied but the person had set the alarm for 2:00 am.

Negatives: We used the pool a few times. It was almost to warm.

Negatives: The location was disappointing. The facilities are located in a predominantly industrial area at the end of a dead-end street.
